First Church offers a friendly and welcoming progressive Christian community. We are a multi-generational community and we come together for worship, community service, social events, music, youth programs and more. There are opportunities to participate in church leadership, to share your talents in music, to share food, and to simply enjoy fellowship with a community of people. Some of our activities include:

• Community Service and Community Outreach, including:
  
  • Monthly participation in Malden's Bread of Life program;
  • Hosting the Sharewood Project;
  • Fundraising events and service activities in support of a wide variety of projects in Malden and beyond.

Playgroup at First Church
Wednesdays, starting September 7, 2011
10:30-11:30

The First Church in Malden is starting a playgroup for parents and children ages 0-5 years old. The church has a dedicated room for babies and toddlers complete with toys, puzzles, and books. Near by is a kitchen that can be used to prepare snacks for the children and coffee for the parents.

Details:
Children aged 0-5 years old and their parents or caregivers are welcome.
Food is allowed, but no peanut butter, please.
Diapers must be bagged and taken home.
The group is run by church volunteers, so please take a moment to help clean up the toys before you leave.
